The client came to Barefruit Marketing wanting to drive traffic to their Shopify site but first needed some content. We discussed different types of content creation including the number 1 medium for marketers in 2021 - video - it's the biggest trend across all social and digital platforms. Byron Bay-based Dr Moose knew it was time to jump on board.

The Brand video
First up, we created a brand video, shorter edits that could be used across organic and paid social media platforms, and still imagery to support. The video has turned out perfectly and better than they could have dreamed of, and now the clients have a thirst for making their business the best it can be and look forward to working with us for the foreseeable future.

Social
We implemented the video and still imagery from the shoot to set up their FB ads with a combination of Dynamic Catalog ads, Dynamic Retarget Ads, Carousel Ads, and Single Video Ads with various conversion goals - to drive traffic and sales to their Shopify website.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
We are now managing their SEO/keyword program too and as a part of this, we conducted Search Engine Optimisation and Conversion Rate Optimisation audits to recommend ways to build trust and increase their conversion rate.

Results
In the first month - traffic increased by 171%, sales went up 335% and their conversion rate improved by 77%. We are seeing a consistent growth in traffic and sales over the last few months.

    The work

    Initially, Barefruit were engaged by East Coast Building Consultants, a building inspection services company in Byron, to build a website. There is no point in having a website that no one knows about, and so this job evolved into a strategy and implementation of an integrated digital marketing campaign to make sure this website came to life.

    The digital campaign was rolled out across the website, Facebook and Instagram, email marketing, and Google My Business. A series of Facebook ads (which are also served on Instagram) were developed with specific audiences in mind. The ads were Facebook Instant Experience ads which give users the opportunity to discover more about the services on offer while remaining on the platform. The ads directed people to customised landing pages for each service provided by East Coast Building Consultants. To support the increase in keyword search, we developed blog posts for each service. Our campaign was reinforced by email marketing and Google My Business posts. Like all integrated campaigns, we rolled the creative out across traditional media, including a DL flyer and a Press Ad. In addition to the ongoing digital campaigns we run for East Coast Building Consultants, this client is part of our SEO program.

    Search Engine Optimisation and digital marketing/ advertising work symbiotically, supporting and improving results for each other. This campaign and the SEO program working together resulted in a 73% increase of traffic to the website and a 50% increase in conversions made on the site (click to call, click to email, complete contact form). Inquiries made through Google My Business were up by 20%, and website clicks were boosted by 40%.

      We were thrilled when we received the brief to work on the rebrand and name change for the former, Yellow Brick Road Wealth and Management, Northern Rivers, which is now operating under Korff Wealth. The business saw an opportunity to restructure and rebrand during the current COVID-19 crisis. With the current economic climate, Australians need expert financial advice they can trust, more than ever. And so, it was the perfect time to strategically review the business and position for future growth.

      It was time for Yellow Brick Road Wealth Management to rebrand and restructure and position themselves in the market as Korff Wealth. With Barefruit's client services and branding expertise, we made this happen with a complete rebrand. The team worked with the client on the strategic direction for the brand's future as well as the visual aspects, including a new brand name, brand image, and brand logo and brand-new website which was designed by our creative lead and put together by our digital team who assisted in organising, uploading and optimising content. As well as completely rebranded both offices Ballina and Lismore.

      To inform the public of Korff Wealth's rebrand, Barefruit created an integrated campaign, that combined both online and traditional advertising. We placed online ads in GIF format to capture the attention of people searching for financial advice. This was complimented with a newspaper article and press ads that were scheduled in the local Northern Star and The Ballina Advocate over a period of four weeks as well as other collateral.

      The result is a slick, and professional rebrand that the client is very happy with. Korff Wealth, with its new name, new logo, brand-new website, new social media pages, and signage for the Ballina and Lismore offices will certainly be attracting old and new customers looking for an expert, objective financial advice across wealth management, insurance and lending.

      The Korff Wealth rebrand was promoted in the local newspapers to help spread the word within the local community about the finance company's recent changes. This included paid advertorials and half page ads in the Byron Echo, the Ballina Advocate and the Northern Star.

        We evolved the brand by implementing an integrated campaign. This included designing new print media; new signage, brochures, postcards, posters, and business cards. As well as launching the new brand communications through advertising, social media, and email marketing. The rebrand was announced in local newspapers and all brand collateral was updated with the new look and feel. Everything was in-line with the new brand guidelines, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms now, and moving forward.

          An Alstonville based Macadamia farm found an opportunity with a side hustle – to use macadamia oil for skin and hair care products. Ann Leslie (the brains behind this genius idea) engaged us to help her make the switch from her WordPress Woo-Commerce site to an e-commerce website with Shopify. At the same time, she was rebranding from PureNut to Avilla Farm and needed to ensure that the transition was smooth, for her business operations and her customers.

          We decided to put our digital experts on this project. Ashleigh and Felismina worked on all the technical back end things; uploading and optimising, formatting and organising. Jennica worked with the client on the visual aspect including brand image, content creation and copywriting. Uncovering the correct ‘tone of voice’ was an important aspect to this project.

            We were thrilled when we got the brief to work on The Tweed’s longest-running and established holiday park, Tweed Holiday Parks.

            After major in-park refurbishments, upgrades and renovations across all the parks over the past few years, the brand needed a facelift too which would include a new name, brand promise, brand mark and website.

            We were to develop a marketing plan addressing communication, branding and re-positioning with their target audience.

            After conducting qualitative and quantitative research and undergoing brand and industry immersion, a detailed marketing plan was developed.

            The major projects were to evolve:

            • The name

            • The brand mark

            • Brand promise.

            And…

            • Develop a custom-built website with online booking functionality,

            • Create a launch video to showcase the experience of staying at Tweed Holiday Parks,

            • Creation of templates for all collateral,

            The new branding developed is clean and fresh and reflects the experience of staying at one of the Tweed Holiday Parks. It encapsulates the close proximity of the parks to the ocean and the hinterland. The brand's promise is ‘space’... space to relax, space to be free, space to connect, with yourself and loved ones, space to just… be.

            Their brand-new website, is one of the biggest sites we have developed and launched along with national press, outdoor, digital and social campaign.

              Westlawn approached us to revamp their current website. With an aim to reflect the brands' customer audiences and create a more user-friendly website that was optimised for mobile and future proofed for today's technology.

              Following customer research undertaken by our team, we addressed several key updates for the web design project, which included:

              • A custom-designed and responsive website

              • Integrating better technology into the site to improve marketing opportunities

              • Refreshing the brand with a new additional purple colour to positively uplift the personality of the brand, along with designing unique iconography to explain their services and created a curated image library to use and build upon.

              • Photography direction for new staff shots for the site

              • Pricing calculators and tools for customers to use for free

              • Implementing a strategy of gathering Customer Stories, for more brand trust and transparency on what Westlawn can offer, using real life examples and integrating this as part of their ongoing digital and email marketing.

                Reduce Single Use was first brought to life in the Barefruit office, since then, the local Council has come on board to push the challenge of reducing single use within the Northern Rivers community. The challenge was to challenge yourself or your colleagues for the month of May to; use a reusable coffee cup, use a refillable water bottle and; use a reusable container and cutlery for your takeaway items.

                Create a campaign identity, and marketing strategy for the Reduce Single Use campaign in Northern Rivers, Ballina.

                We created a logo identity for the RSU campaign, this included the design of promotional cut outs to use at Reduce Single Use events, producing campaign guidelines, which were followed across all creative projects, campaign assets, creating a website landing page and further mock-ups of a potential website, email template design and print ads.

                33 local businesses signed up to take on the Reduce Single Use challenge, each week a print ad was published in the local newspaper, promoting the campaign and listing businesses each week that has signed up.

                    Long-time client and local leader in the RV industry, BCMC, are the exclusive dealer Australia-wide for Horizon Motorhomes, the Northern NSW and QLD dealer for Frontline Campervans and the Northern NSW dealer for Millard Caravans. In advance of receiving delivery of a number of new vehicles, they had a need to move some 2018 stock.

                    Barefruit created a sales promotion campaign targeting the local area for a 30-day period, using a fully-integrated approach including:

                    • local press

                    • TV and radio

                    • targeted digital advertising

                    • targeted emails

                    • social media

                    with the objective of generating leads.

                    A clear advertising campaign using simple clear messaging. We created a campaign identity to solidify the look and feel across the different user touch points in print, digital media and TV using the car number plate as a concept to frame the copy.
